Management undertakes to provide a safe working environment. Managers and supervisors are accountable for developing a safety-conscious attitude in all employees. Individual safety means working in a safe manner at all times. This is how the system of safety functions in all operations.

Any objectionable conduct, comment, or display by a person that:
Is directed at a worker
Is made on a basis of race, creed, religion, colour, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability, physical size or weight, age, nationality, ancestry or place of origin
Constitutes a threat to the health or safety of the worker
Worker right – every supervisor will ensure that no worker is subjected to harassment at the place of employment
Worker obligation – no worker shall cause or participate in the harassment of another worker

Safety On The Road
Safety is an essential part of NRT operations and our drivers
ensure our safety measures are upheld.
Our drivers are well-equipped and rigorously trained for the challenge of getting each load safely to its destination.
NRT’s high safety standards and ongoing training pay off. Our drivers travel in excess of eight million miles a year on winding gravel roads, busy highways, and desolate ice roads. They assume responsibility for the day-to-day safety of their trucks, with routine checks.
All of our drivers go through a company training and certification process to ensure excellence on the road. Training is ongoing throughout their career and drivers are continuously taking recertification courses as needed.
