Cameco Corporation has controlling ownership of the world's largest high-grade reserves and low-cost operations in northern Saskatchewan, Canada, with ore grades 100 times the world average. The company has 550 million pounds of proven and probable reserves.
Cameco operates the uranium mine at McArthur River; processes ore from the McArthur River mine at its Key Lake mill; and mines and mills uranium at Rabbit Lake. Cigar Lake mine construction is ongoing, with production to begin in 2007.

Claude Resources
Claude resources is currently mining gold only at its Seabee mine in northern Saskatchewan, but has other exploration projects underway in northern Manitoba and north western Ontario.
Claude produces about 40,000 ounces of gold annually at its Seabee mine; it has proven and probable reserves of about 160,000 ounces of gold.
While gold accounts for about 90% of the company's sales, the company also produces natural gas, natural gas liquids and oil in Alberta and southeastern Saskatchewan.
